Currawong Pub. Co. (Australia; pamphlet) The following are a juvenile fantasy series, sort of Tarzan-like. As usual, scarce and commanding $50+ per. They were reprinted in one volume in the 1990s.
The three were reportedly originally first published as “The Reign of
the Reptiles” in Wonder Stories [August 1935] but this is untrue. They
have nothing to do with one-another. |

|
Fantasy Library Series (Mark Goulden: UK digest) |
|
Fantasy Fiction Series (Whitman Press: Australian
pamphlet) – entirely a reprint series of short novels in pamphlet format,
desirable for their artwork. Adam Link In The Past Eando Binder, 1950 – somewhat commonplace. Parasite
Planet Stanley Weinbaum, 1949/50 – although this edition commands
the most value, it is the next title that is rarest in the entire series. |

White Queen of the Jungle John King, 1951 {Heade} – undeniably
rare, commands outrageous prices. |
|
Hector Kelly (UK digest) |

Horror Club (UK: tall pamphlet) Collectors often erroneously search for this under the title of “The Horror Club” as this cover the cover, instead of the actual title. Dealers make the same mistake. |

Scientific Thriller (Associated General Publications (1st two only), the remainder by Transport: Australian pamphlet) Complete sets are rare, expect to pay $20-$100+ depending on rarity of various titles. The original first two are very rare. It is entirely possible that all of these covers, even those unidentified, are by Maurice Bramley. He was competent in both art styles. “T. the turf to find them. |
|
Gerald G. Swan (UK pamphlet)
the lead
story—The Dark City—consumes 2/3rd the publication, back-filled by
only one short crime story.
Gerald G. Swan (UK digest) NOTE: “Monster of the Lagoon” by George F. Worts does NOT exist as a Gerald G Swan publication. This misnomer has been perpetuated since its appearance in the Tuck encyclopedia. The correct edition is from Canada’s publisher ‘Popular,’ printed in 1947. It is a tall digest, like Ralph Milne Farley’s “The Immortals,” by the same publisher. |
|
Tempest Publications (UK digest) |

in Black Gans T. Field –
really Manly Wade Wellman, like all Utopian novels here, quite rare. Caracas Gabriel Marlowe – very rare title, lovely cover art.
